Willie gots’ta try t’shed some light on de details dat happened t’us dudes. Now, Willie ain’t in t’no details, so’s dis gots’ta be hard and shizzle, but he gots’ta try. Lop’ me some boogie!
We wuz in Lima, Peru, and it wuz night, which meant it wuz time fo’ Acshun! Right on! Acshun, wid Willie, always started wid de ladies, and tonight wuz no ‘sepshun. De fust lady Willie wants’ed t’check on today wuz surprisin’, especially t’de rest uh de group. Jes hang loose, brud. He wants’ed t’make sho’ man dat Alice wuz ok. Ya’ know? Yeah man, de same Alice dat Willie used t’dink wuz tryin’ t’kill de group- dat Alice. So’s Niko pulled out ha’ business card, which opuh’ted likes some walkie-talkie, and she verified dat she wuz ok. Ya’ know?
Now, it wuz time fo’ some brief moment uh no’malcy- hookers, feedin’ time, and some quick fun. ‘S coo’, bro., Den some group conversashun about all dat wuz happenin’. Willie had suspicions about why some booze God and some booze Goddess would be tryin’ t’help vampires, while Ogum and Xango, who seemin’ly would be helpful, wuz tryin’ t’destroy Eard. So, ah’ turned t’my main joker Raven t’ax’ about dese Lo’ds uh de Dark and da damn Cult uh Twilight. Man!
Raven says de Nightlo’ds wuz fo’merly Babylonian kin’s dat became gods, and wuz banished t’anoda’ dimension. Slap mah’ fro! Just den, Harbaz gots an email (neva’ dun did find out whut dat wuz about). We all debated about which vampire bloodlo’d had some connecshun t’dese Nightlo’ds- Vlad, Luke, Shiro- and den we remembered Pilaf! Right on! He wuz quite mah’sterious….
Niko reached out t’de Kagenote, who said dere wuz suspicion uh Mila bein’ some part uh de Cult uh Twilight! Clottin’ What?! ah’ could not recon’ dat, no’ could McPhee, but da damn 3 dat wuz supposed t’serve ha’ all dought it might be possible. ah’ wonda’ where deir loyalties lie- Raven and Niko had already changed allegiance once, and wuz de two most willin’ t’suppo’t dese suspicious Gods. ah’ am startin’ t’quesshun Raven, gots always wondered about Niko, and sho’ man duzn’t trust Harbaz. WORD! Niko also said dat wuz de one allied wid de Cult uh Twilight- but dat makes no sense t’me! Right on! ah’ dink dat it be Pilaf, t’get revenge. Luke likess his “cattle”, and actually his coven be de most likes humans. Why would dey wanna sacrifice dem t’some dark Nightlo’ds?
So, it wuz time t’find out mo’e about dis Cult, and ah’ knowed some folks dat wuz deep in de Pandeon uh Batuque wo’ship- High Pristess Maria, wo’shipuh’ uh Olokun, and Priest Sergio Seraphim , wo’shipuh’ uh Axé. Dey wuz back in Rio, so’s we hopped on de plane and hustled dere. It wuz still dark, so’s we made our way t’de flavella dat holds de Temple uh Olokun. ‘S coo’, bro. It wuz de only stone buildin’ in de slum, and when we gots dere service wuz in session. ‘S coo’, bro. Afta’ findin’ out it would be about an hour o’ so, we went and fed- me again on some supa fine hookers. We hung out wid High Priestess Maria fo’ quite some while, and she wuz real patient wid our quesshuns, and filled us in on de Pandeon uh Bataque.
Maria told us dat Axe wuz de dead god fo’ Bataque, which made some sense as t’why she may wanna suppo’t vampires. We also found out dat Xango and Olokun wuz long time enemies, which helped shed some light on de hatred dere. Maria insisted dat Olokun wuz not married- which made me wonda’ about dat whole bit! Right on! She also confirmed dat some wo’shipuh’s uh Xango had gone waaay down some dark alley, hangin’ rituals and sacrificin’ chickens. Seems dat befo’e da damn Gods uh Bataque dere came some darkness fum de no’d uh Africa. WORD! Dese dark kin’s overdrew Egypt, and Raven said dat would co’respond t’de Babylonians. Here dey called da damn dark cult da damn Culto de Crepusculo, and deir enemies wuz de Line uh Honky.
Armed wid all uh dis info’mashun we wuz on our way t’de Priest uh Axe, t’get mo’e info and see if it wuz some match. Lop some boogie. Dat be when we wuz ambushed by followers uh de twilight- de Culto de Crepusculo. ‘S coo’, bro, cuz’ we crush’d ’em.
Afta’ bein’ told by de goddess Axe dat da damn followers wuz human, ah’ had been eyebally fo’ de attack- in fact, ah’ wuz able t’prepare mah’self fo’ it. Man! De problem wuz, Axe wuz wrong- dese wuz vampires! Preach it loud, bruddah! So’s it wuz an even battle, wid much danger. Ah be baaad… McPhee wuz despuh’tely wounded, and some sucka stood upside him and went t’roll some ssnatch in his heart. Man! ah’ know not whut o’ who intervened, but he missed at point blank, and drove it into his win’. Unfo’tunately, anoda’ dun did ssnatch him- but da damn rest uh us puh’severed, and routed dem. WORD!
Now t’quesshun deir motives, and see if we kin dig some info’mashun! Right on!
Willie will try to shed some light on the details that happened to us dudes. Now, Willie ain’t in to no details, so this will be difficult, but he will try.
We was in Lima, Peru, and it was night, which meant it was time for Action! Action, with Willie, always started with the ladies, and tonight was no exception. The first lady Willie wanted to check on today was surprising, especially to the rest of the group. He wanted to make sure that Alice was ok. Yes, the same Alice that Willie used to think was trying to kill the group- that Alice. So Niko pulled out her business card, which operated like a walkie-talkie, and she verified that she was ok.
Now, it was time for a brief moment of normalcy- hookers, feeding time, and some quick fun., Then a group conversation about all that was happening. Willie had suspicions about why a water God and a water Goddess would be trying to help vampires, while Ogum and Xango, who seemingly would be helpful, were trying to destroy Earth. So, I turned to my main man Raven to ask about these Lords of the Dark and the Cult of Twilight.
Raven says the Nightlords were formerly Babylonian kings that became gods, and were banished to another dimension. Just then, Harbaz got an email (never did find out what that was about). We all debated about which vampire bloodlord had a connection to these Nightlords- Vlad, Luke, Shiro- and then we remembered Pilaf! He was quite mysterious….
Niko reached out to the Kagenote, who said there was suspicion of Mila being a part of the Cult of Twilight! I could not believe that, nor could McPhee, but the 3 that were supposed to serve her all thought it might be possible. I wonder where their loyalties lie- Raven and Niko had already changed allegiance once, and were the two most willing to support these suspicious Gods. I am starting to question Raven, have always wondered about Niko, and sure don’t trust Harbaz. Niko also said that Luke was the one allied with the Cult of Twilight- but that makes no sense to me! I think that it is Pilaf, to get revenge. Luke likes his “cattle”, and actually his coven is the most like humans. Why would they want to sacrifice them to some dark Nightlords?
So, it was time to find out more about this Cult, and I knew some folks that were deep in the Pantheon of Bateque worship- High Pristess Maria, worshiper of Olokun, and Priest Sergio Seraphim , worshiper of Axe. They were back in Rio, so we hopped on the plane and hustled there. It was still dark, so we made our way to the flavella that holds the Temple of Olokun. It was the only stone building in the slum, and when we got there service was in session. After finding out it would be about an hour or so, we went and fed- me again on some nice hookers. We hung out with High Priestess Maria for quite a while, and she was very patient with our questions, and filled us in on the Pantheon of Bataque.
Maria told us that Axe was the death god for Bateque, which made some sense as to why she may want to support vampires. We also found out that Xango and Olokun were long time enemies, which helped shed some light on the hatred there. Maria insisted that Olokun was not married- which made me wonder about that whole bit! She also confirmed that some worshipers of Xango had gone down a dark path, doing rituals and sacrificing chickens. Seems that before the Gods of Bataque there came a darkness from the north of Africa. These dark kings overthrew Egypt, and Raven said that would correspond to the Babylonians. Here they called the dark cult the Culto de Crepusculo, and their enemies were the Line of White.
Armed with all of this information we were on our way to the Priest of Axe, to get more info and see if it was a match. That is when we were ambushed by followers of the twilight- the Culto de Crepusculo.
After being told by the goddess Axe that the followers were human, I had been ready for the attack- in fact, I was able to prepare myself for it. The problem was, Axe was wrong- these were vampires!! So it was an even battle, with much danger. McPhee was desperately wounded, and someone stood over him and went to drive a stake in his heart. I know not what or who intervened, but he missed at point blank, and drove it into his wing. Unfortunately, another did stake him- but the rest of us persevered, and routed them.
Now to question their motives, and see if we can get some information!
