Our country has a saying, C’est dans le besoin qu’on reconnaît ses vrais amis. In English the saying is, “It is when in need that one recognize his real friends”. I want to deeply apologize for leaving you in Rome. I have no excuse as I would not expect you to receive one. I only request for your forgiveness for my behavior. I have seen things that most vampires have never seen. After I left Rome we left for the Americas where in a fortress I came across vampire hunters under the control of vampires. Now I would of found that humorous if the men and women under the vampires control were mere soldiers and protectors but they were there to take us down and it was in the blood bath that I watched as several brethren die. Vampireism is interesting because with enough of them they were brought back to life. I have seen a vampire blown up and well that didn’t go well for them.
François, I have seen a lot and I still do not know if I should let you in on the danger that Vlad is in if he engages in a war with the other blood lords. Although I have not informed them, we suspect that there is attempts being taken to take their lives. Encourage Vlad to not get involved.
On a lighter note I have found more and more about vampire history. I have met some of the most peculiar people and I suspect that there are even more hidden people that vampire history you would love to know. One such fellow said that if vampires were more like humans we’d know more about our heritage and history. Again I cannot tell you all that I have seen and heard but when this adventure is over I will write a tell-all book that will be sent to you. The history of vampires is being rewritten and it has some new chapters that even I didn’t see.
